DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — Gov. John Kasich says the state will invest $15 million to support research in self-driving highway technology along a 35-mile stretch of an Ohio road.
The Republican governor announced the investment Wednesday in conjunction with a self-driving truck made by Otto heading out on its first run along U.S. Route 33 between Dublin and East Liberty. A driver was going along as backup.
