State pays $2.6M for computer woes

SPOKANE (AP) — The state has paid $2.6 million to settle a dispute involving a new computer system at community colleges in Spokane and Tacoma.

Originally estimated to cost $100 million, the system is several years behind schedule and at least $10 million over budget.
