Seattle removing unused cameras

SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle is spending $150,000 to remove more than two dozen surveillance cameras installed by the Seattle Police Department but never put into use following a community outcry.

KING-TV reports in a story on Friday that the cameras installed in 2013 will be repurposed and used by the Seattle Department of Transportation.
