Election security summit in Spokane

SPOKANE — The Center for Regional Disaster Resilience will hold a session next week on election security at the Pacific Northwest Economic Region's Summit in Spokane.

Idaho and Washington state and local election officials will discuss what they are doing to protect election systems from cybersecurity threats. A Department of Homeland Security representative will share the national perspective.
