After Hours: Sandberg, Strayed talk here May 16

SEATTLE — Sheryl Sandberg, COO at Facebook, will appear in Seattle in a conversation with best-seller author Cheryl Strayed on May 16 at 7:30 p.m. at The Moore.

Sandberg wrote “Option B: Facing Adversity, Building Resilience and Finding Joy” after the sudden death of her husband. She and Strayed will talk about resilience and moving forward after setbacks. The book offers steps people can take to recover and rebound, and shares research about finding strength in the face of adversity.

Sandberg is the author of “Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead.” Strayed's bestselling memoir, “Wild,” about her 1,100-mile solo hike along the Pacific Crest Trail, was made into a film.

STG Presents & Elliott Bay Book Co. are the sponsors. Tickets are at Ticketmaster.com, at the Paramount box office or by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Information is at STGPresents.org.
