COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Officials in Coeur d'Alene say this will be the last year the city hosts a full Ironman race.
The northern Idaho tourism destination has hosted full Ironman competitions for 14 years. But last week, officials with the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce told City Council members that the chamber didn't want to renew its $50,000 annual financial commitment to the 140.6-mile triathlon.
