SEATTLE — Downtown Seattle Association's free outdoor concert series started this week, and continues throughout the summer with shows at eight venues until Aug. 31.

Pike Place MarketFront has been added to the list of venues, which also includes City Hall Plaza, Harbor Steps, Union Square, Westlake Park, Occidental Square, Freeway Park, Van Vorst Plaza at 426 Terry Ave. N. and Day One Playfield at 2121 Seventh Ave.

Artists performing this year include SassyBlack, Prom Queen, Dusty 45s, Clinton Fearon and more. DSA said it will partner with Fremont Abbey Arts to showcase new artists at several of the City Hall Plaza performances.
