EVERETT — Everett's food truck festival is Saturday, with 22 of the region's best food trucks, as well as live music and local beers.
Everett-based blog Live in Everett is hosting the fifth annual event on Wetmore Avenue in downtown Everett, near toy maker Funko's new headquarters and Wetmore Theatre Plaza.
The event is designed for foodies and families, with a music stage and beer garden with local brews on tap. Admission is free, but you can beat the lines by paying $5 to enter one hour early. For $30, you get early entry, 10 small bites, the VIP dining room and free water all day.
Tyler Chism, co-founder of Everett Food Truck Festival, says the goal is to have fun and get people to visit downtown. “Everett is often misunderstood and definitely under-appreciated and when people come here for the first time, they're always blown away by how cool our city is.”
Information and tickets are at www.everettfoodtruckfestival.com.
