While the recession may be abating for some sectors of the U.S. economy, the construction equipment industry remains stalled, according to reports released last week by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
AEM said 8 percent of all jobs lost during the recession — or two out of every 25 — can be traced to the ailing construction equipment industry.
