The Seattle branding and design firm Hornall Anderson hired Tim Halloran as digital strategy director. He has experience in digital strategy, design and development, brand identity, marketing, copywriting and content strategy for clients such as Microsoft, Target, Smithsonian and the Federal Reserve. Hornall Anderson is part of DAS Group of Companies.

Overlake Medical Center

DeBord

Overlake Medical Center hired Tom DeBord as chief operating officer. DeBord was president of Summa Barberton & Wadsworth-Rittman Hospitals in Akron, Ohio, and also worked for Barberton Citizens Hospital.

Seattle Bank

Waechter

Seattle Bank added John Waechter to the board of directors. He is managing director for Delafield Hambrecht in Seattle.

CITC of Washington

The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington won a Chapter Award of Excellence from Associated Builders and Contractors for its Women in Construction program, which provides apprenticeship pathways. The program will also be listed by ABC as a best practice and shared among its chapters across the country. CITC is the training partner of ABC of Western Washington.

Lease Crutcher Lewis

The Seattle office of Lease Crutcher Lewis won an AGC in the Community Award for raising money for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. More than $224,000 was raised during the 2014 Obliteride by a team of 138 bicycle riders and volunteers put together by Lewis. Subcontractors partnering with Lewis on the event were Cobra, McKinstry, NCM, Prime Electric, Rhine Demolition, PSF Mechanical and Concrete Restoration. AGC Charities, an arm of the AGC of America, issued the award.

Collicutt Energy Services

Collicutt Energy Services of Santa Fe Springs, California, is expanding its operations into Washington, Oregon, Idaho and most of Nevada. Collicutt sells and services diesel and gas generators that provide standby and continuous power. It recently became a distributor for MTU Onsite Energy power generators.

Expeditors International of Washington said R. Jordan Gates, president and COO, will retire this year and not stand for re-election to the board. He joined the company in 1991 as controller of Europe and became CFO in 1994.

Russell Investments

Russell Investments has hired Paul Eitelman on its global team for multi-asset portfolios and services for institutional and retail investors. He was vice president, senior economist at J.P. Morgan in New York and fills a position held by Doug Gordon, who was promoted to senior portfolio manager, tactical asset allocation strategies.

ScaleOut Software

Bellevue-based ScaleOut Software, a provider of in-memory computing software, hired Chris Villinger as vice president of business development and marketing. Villinger was with Royal Philips in the Netherlands and has more than 20 years of experience, including at Teleplan International and Microsoft.
