Tittelfitz

In its Seattle office, Talia Tittelfitz rejoined BHC Consultants after working as a watershed coordinator for the Wabash River Enhancement Corp. in Indiana. At BHC from 2007 to 2013, Tittelfitz worked on long-range plans, codes and GIS analyses, including the Kelso downtown plan. BHC is a municipal services consulting firm, with an office also in Tacoma.

Astra Women's Business Alliance named three women entrepreneurs to lead its Washington Leadership Forum. They will elevate issues facing women-owned businesses to Astra's regional office in Portland and to national leaders of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. They are: Betta Beasley of 2rbConsulting in Kirkland, Sandy Brewer of Pinnacle Investigations and Pinnacle Professional Services in Spokane Valley, and Kelly Sparks of VMG/studio520 in Bellevue.

Public Disclosure Commission

The Public Disclosure Commission appointed Tacoma attorney Evelyn Fielding Lopez executive director. Lopez served in the Attorney General's Office, and as chief of the AGO's Labor & Industries Division. The commission focuses on campaign finances, lobbying expenditures and the personal financial affairs of government officials.

Seattle-based Gustafson Guthrie Nichol hired Meg Herndon as an associate, Jasmine Aryana as a project manager, Aria Goodman as a graphic designer, and Michael Benson, Kristelle Boulos, Peter Malandra, Philip Syvertsen, Joan Walbert and Sara Zewde as designers. Also, Mary Lange and Laurel Li joined the landscape architecture firm as design interns and Caitlin Jorgensen and Adrienne Leach as administrators. GGN's work includes CityCenterDC, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation campus and Seattle's Pike-Pine Renaissance streetscape plan.

Karin Bostanci joined Zervas Architects in Bellingham as an interior designer. Bostanci was with an architecture firm in New York City. She holds a bachelor's in urban design and architecture studies from New York University and a master's in interior design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. At Zervas, she is working on the Blaine Primary School addition. Zervas is an architectural and interior design firm.

CollinsWoerman

Carole Kassir-Garcia and Keysha Stark have rejoined CollinsWoerman as senior interior designers for workplace, mixed-use and health care projects. The hires are part of an expansion of the firm's interior design department. Kassir-Garcia has over 25 years of experience designing workplace, health care, and public space interiors. Stark has over 14 years of experience designing workplace and public space interiors. Seattle-based CollinsWoerman is an architecture, design and planning firm.

Shannon & Wilson

Shannon & Wilson hired Axel Nitschke, Ph.D., as vice president and director of operations for underground services in its new office in Tysons Corner, Virginia. His hiring will help the Seattle-based geotechnical and engineering company widen its national underground services portfolio. Nitschke has 20 years of industry experience, including on road, rail and utility tunnel projects for civil infrastructure as well as mining clients.

The Blueline Group

The Blueline Group hired Steve Moore as a CAD drafter. Moore has over 20 years of CAD experience, including water distribution, oil field design, subdivisions, schools, playfields, parks and commercial developments. Blueline provides civil engineering consulting.
