In Seattle, Mithun promoted Lana Lisitsa and Lynn McBride to partner, and Casey Huang, Dorothy Faris, Elizabeth Gordon and Heidi Oien to principal. Lisitsa is a project manager with 21 years of experience on education, commercial, hospitality and historic preservation projects. She was hired in 2008, and managed projects that include Weyerhaeuser headquarters at 200 Occidental and renovation of the Paul Thiry-designed 1101 Second Avenue. McBride joined the firm 21 years ago and has managed design projects that include Mesa Nueva, Nuevo West and Nuevo East student housing at the University of California, San Diego. She also is on the firm's human resources team and board of directors. Huang has done planning and design of affordable and workforce housing, and mission-based projects in her 24 years with Mithun. That work includes Hirabayashi Place and Anthem on 12th in Seattle. Faris is a landscape architect whose work has included the University of Washington Terry and Maple halls in Seattle, and the mixed-use Heartline and Press Blocks in Portland. Gordon has led the design of corporate workplaces for Fortune 100 companies in the Silicon Valley and the Northwest. She has experience in the workplace, cultural, hospitality, science, higher education and health care sectors. Oien has 20 years of experience as an architect and urban designer. She has led projects that catalyze neighborhoods, including Heartline and Press Blocks, and urban design for the Edison-Eastlake Choice Neighborhood in Phoenix.

Sandy Chapin joined Mukilteo-based University Mechanical Contractors as marketing and communications manager. Chapin has nearly 17 years of experience in the Seattle AEC industry. That includes developing brand-appropriate communications and thought leadership collateral, managing strategic marketing and communications initiatives, and writing proposals, firm qualifications, speaking abstracts and award submittals. UMC provides high performance mechanical building infrastructure.





WSP USA

Thomas

Engineering and professional services consultancy WSP USA named Chris Thomas a senior vice president and government market head responsible for growing business in federal, state and local markets and working with government agencies. WSP provides engineering to government clients for hospitals, labs, offices, courthouses and military facilities. Thomas will be based in Seattle. He was a senior vice president with CH2M.

Jonson

In Seattle, McKinstry promoted Mark Jonson to vice president and general manager of construction, Michael Frank to vice president of design and engineering, and Brian Antonsen to vice president of mechanical construction for Washington. Jonson will lead construction teams in multiple regions. He was hired in 1994, and most recently was vice president, Western Washington region. Frank will oversee engineering teams in the Northwest. He has been with the firm for two decades, and was director of engineering for Western Washington and Oregon projects. Antonsen will oversee mechanical construction projects in Washington. He joined the firm in 2003 and was director of mechanical construction, Washington. McKinstry is a national design, build, operate and maintain firm.

Meng Analysis

Lersch

Seattle-based Meng Analysis hired Matt Lersch as construction and cost manager, and Cam Iseri as an engineering technician. Lersch has over 20 years of experience, with roles that include cost estimating, project management, owner representation, litigation support and construction defect investigation. He will manage cost analysis services, and serve on condition assessment, value engineering studies and constructability reviews. Iseri has a mechanical engineering background and will support the commissioning and condition assessment teams. Meng provides quality and cost performance consulting.


Tres West Engineers

Hernandez

Tacoma-based Tres West Engineers hired Walid Baki as a mechanical construction inspector, Anthony Hernandez as an electrical designer and Shauna Rubin as office manager and executive assistant. Baki has 34 years of experience in mechanical systems services and will lead efforts on the Port of Seattle's international arrivals facility. Hernandez has 10 years of experience specializing in K-12 and higher education facilities. Rubin has over 20 years of accounting and office management experience, and will lead administration and support executive operations. Tres West provides engineering and construction management services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and communications systems.

Alissa Seiple is the new CEO of Decisive Data, a Redmond-based data analytics firm. Seiple has 20 years of business management experience, including stints as a principal at OneAccord Partners in Kirkland and CIO at Sovereign Intelligence. She succeeds Luke Hartsock, who remains as board chair.








City of Kent

Marli Larimer was appointed to Kent City Council, and serves on the Economic Development and Parks and Human Services committees. Larimer is a digital product manager for Starbucks.

Tulalip Resort Casino

Tulalip Resort Casino opened Tula Bene Pastaria + Chophouse. Perry Mascitti is executive chef. His team includes chef Jeremy Taisey, pastry chef Nikol Nakamura and sommelier Tom Thompson.

Salish Sea Expeditions

Alex Adams, Grant Novak and Caitlin Olmsted joined the board of Salish Sea Expeditions, a Bainbridge Island marine science education organization for middle and high school students. Adams is a senior environmental program manager at the Port of Seattle and a licensed captain. Novak is a natural resources management specialist at Confluence Environmental Co. and has worked as a commercial fisherman. Olmsted is a communications professional at bgC3, a Seattle think tank founded by Bill Gates.
