Smith

In Kent, Novinium hired Kerrin Smith as COO. Smith has over 20 years of experience as a senior executive. He was president of Kompan North America, a provider of playground equipment. Novinium rejuvenates underground cables for electric utilities.






Prime 8 Consulting

Hamman

In Bellevue, Prime 8 Consulting hired Michelle Hamman as director of talent acquisition. Hamman spent the last 11 years at Xtreme Consulting Group as technical recruiter, then recruiting lead and finally talent acquisition manager. She helped build the R4R (recruiting for recruiters) division at Xtreme. Prime 8 is a business consultant.

Theatre Puget Sound

Eitemiller

Ruth Eitemiller won the 2018 Melissa Hines Backstage Award from Theatre Puget Sound. Eitemiller spent the last 10 years working with ACT, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Co., The 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre and others. She also teaches stage management at Seattle University. The recognition was part of the 10th Annual Gregory Awards in Seattle.

Seattle Public Schools

Seattle Public Schools hired Tim Robinson as communications specialist and media relations lead. Robinson was a freelance writer and in marketing and public relations for Visit Spokane. Before that, he was a reporter for KING 5 News.

Kirtley-Cole Associates

Wendlandt

Scott Wendlandt joined Everett-based Kirtley-Cole Associates as director of operations. Wendlandt was vice president of construction at Trammell Crow Residential, and was senior project manager for 11 years at AvalonBay Communities prior to that.






Sellen Construction

Erickson

The Society for Marketing Professional Services named Amanda Erickson of Sellen Construction as 2017 SMPS Chapter President of the Year. Erickson is editorial director at Sellen. She helped SMPS Seattle reach 266 members, beating its goal.







Oles, Morrison, Rinker & Baker

Baker

The National Academy of Construction named Sam E. Baker Jr. as general counsel for the organization. Baker is senior partner at Oles, Morrison, Rinker & Baker in Seattle. As general counsel, Baker serves on the academy's executive committee. The academy includes leaders who have made life-long contributions to the AEC industries.





UEB Builders

Tuttle

Donald Tuttle joined the Seattle office of UEB Builders, a design-build and general contractor with other offices in Portland, Dallas and the Phoenix area. Tuttle is development principal in the local office, which opened in 2016. He was principal-in-charge of business development at DCI Engineers and has more than 20 years of local experience in that field. UEB wants to double the size of its Seattle office, to 20 staff, by next summer.
