Work continues on redeveloping 26 single-family houses and townhouses that once housed officers at Fort Lawton in Seattle's Discovery Park.
All 13 homes in Montana Circle at Fort Lawton have all been sold, and work has begun to restore 13 homes in Officer's Row, which contains a mix of classic colonial revival architecture, built in 1900.
Exteriors will be restored according to landmark guidelines. Interiors will be renovated with a nod to a contemporary lifestyle. The residences include both wood and brick buildings, and range in size from 4,027 to 6,600 square feet. Each will have a new two-car garage.
The first home in Officer's Row will be available for sale in July.
