Renton's upscale apartments fill up

A new, high-end apartment complex in Renton sold last week for a Southend record amount that the deal's broker said reflects ongoing changes in Renton.
The national pension fund advisor UBS Brinson Realty Investments paid Bellevue-based Buchan Properties $18 million for the freshly-built Springbrook Apartments, according to King County property records.
