Renton clears the way to redevelop Boeing site

  • $33M for infrastructure included

    The Renton City Council took several key steps Monday to clear the way for redevelopment in and around Boeing's 280-acre site on Lake Washington.

    The city council approved a rezone and committed to spend more than $33 million for infrastructure improvements if redevelopment does occur. Council members also rescinded a nearly 1-year-old moratorium on development in the area.
