290 apartments, retail coming to the former QFC site on Broadway

Construction will begin this fall on a 290-unit apartment and retail project on the former QFC site at Broadway East and Republican Street on Capitol Hill, said Bob Burkheimer, managing partner of Seattle-based Harvard Avenue Investments.
