17th & Jackson project may spur others

The $22.4 million complex by the Central Area Development Association will have apartments, retail, office, live/work units and parking.

A local non-profit developer plans to start construction Sept. 4 on a six-story mixed-use building in the Central Area that it hopes will spur development of other projects nearby.
