SEATTLE (AP) — A group of Seattle suburbs planning to build a regional jail with the city has selected six potential sites for further studies.
The 640-inmate jail could be built at Bellevue, Kirkland, Shoreline, or at sites in north or south Seattle or downtown. The sites are: King County Jail Annex, 1600 W. Armory Way, Highland Park Way Southwest and West Marginal Way, 555 116th Ave. N.E., 2545 N.E. 200th St., and 13225 N.E. 126th Place.
