SEATTLE — The Seattle City Council's land-use committee will hold its first meeting on the planned 1.5-million-square-foot expansion of Seattle Children's on Nov. 18.
The fate of the health care project in the Laurelhurst neighborhood rests with the city council because a city hearing examiner recommended that the project not move forward. The hearing examiner took up the matter after Laurelhurst residents appealed the hospital's environmental review of the expansion.
