Ritchie Bros. seeks larger auction site

  • The regional manager said the firm often has to turn away equipment because the Olympia-area site is not big enough.

    Construction equipment re-seller Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers has outgrown its 35-acre auction site south of Olympia and is looking for a bigger space.

    “We should have moved a few years ago,” said Rob Giroux, regional manager based at the Olympia-area site. “We have been forced to turn equipment away fairly regularly.”
