Bothell hopes road projects will bring new investments to town

One consultant projects that upgrades by the city will stimulate construction of 650,000-square-feet of commercial space, 2,700 housing units, 8,400 temporary construction jobs and nearly 1,370 permanent jobs. The city pegs the value of all this at $750 million.

Hopes are high in Bothell, as the city begins work on $150 million in public projects that officials say could lead to as much as $750 million worth of investment downtown.
