Vertical World buys Magnolia building for a climbing gym

The former Marco Marine building will house a climbing gym. Seattle architect Jeffrey Hummel said the project team is “reaching for world-class status.”

With 7.9 million square feet of office space sitting empty in downtown Seattle alone, developers are finding alternative uses for property, such as a climbing gym that's taking shape in Magnolia.
