Cabela's opens today in Union Gap

UNION GAP, Yakima County — Outdoor retailer Cabela's today is rolling out its Outpost store format in the city of Union Gap.

The 40,000-square-foot Union Gap Outpost anchors Washington Plaza, a new shopping center on East Washington Avenue adjacent to the Valley Mall. It is a smaller version of a regular Cabela's store, with the same outdoor theme of taxidermied wildlife and nature panoramas. The company says it was designed for efficiency, flexibility and convenience.
