Bass Pro Shop eyes Anchorage location
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A second major outdoor retailer from the Midwest has announced plans to open an Anchorage store.
Springfield, Mo.-based Bass Pro Shops says it will open a 100,000-square-foot store at the Glenn Square Shopping Center, near Merrill Field on the Glenn Highway. Another 3- to 4-acres of land will be developed as a wetlands nature center.
