1201 Third Avenue sells for $549M

The city’s second tallest building has sold for $548.8 million, according to county records.

An entity related to MetLife Real Estate Investments bought 1201 Third Avenue for approximately $486 per square foot from a partnership of Wright Runstad, Boston-based Beacon Capital Partners and Shorenstein Properties.
