Sound Transit OKs TOD policy guide

SEATTLE — Sound Transit has adopted a new policy guide for transit oriented development on its property and near stations in an effort to increase ridership.

Sound Transit Board Chair and Pierce County Executive Pat McCarthy said having commercial and residential projects around stations will create places where people want to live, work and play, and that will bring more riders to the system.
