Trammell Crow buys site for First Hill project

By JOURNAL STAFF

Trammell Crow Co. bought a property at 1124 Columbia St. on First Hill that once housed the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and plans to expand it into 190,000 square feet of medical office space.

The purchase includes two surface parking lots on 1.1 acres at the corner of Boren and James. The company plans to redevelop that site for housing.
