EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — More back yards in Eugene will be turning into barnyards. The city council voted Wednesday to encourage farming by allowing residents to keep more chickens, rabbits, goats and beehives.
The Register-Guard reports the number of animals depend on the combination. The previous ordinance limited most residents to two chickens and two rabbits.
