REI to open sixth D.C.-area store

SEATTLE — Outdoor gear and clothing retailer REI announced it plans to open a 32,800-square-foot store in the Tysons area of McLean, Va., in August.

The two-story store will be at the southeast corner of Leesburg Pike and Chain Bridge Road. The new store joins five other REI stores in the Washington, D.C., area.
