Mary McBride gets HUD job in D.C.

SEATTLE — The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development named HUD Northwest Regional Administrator Mary McBride as HUD's new assistant deputy secretary for field policy and management in Washington, D.C., starting Oct. 1.

Deputy Regional Administrator Donna Batch will serve as acting regional administrator for Region 10, which covers Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The current assistant deputy secretary, Pat Hoban-Moore, will serve as HUD's director of administration.
