City trades extra floors for Pioneer Square loo

Seattle City Council has approved a plan by Urban Visions to build an 11-story office and apartment complex just east of Occidental Park in Pioneer Square in exchange for putting in a public toilet.

Urban Visions' CEO Greg Smith didn't return a call for comment after the meeting yesterday, but he said last week he is unsure whether he will move forward with the 11-story, mixed-use version of the project he calls 200 Occidental.
