Apartments eyed for Dexter bakery site

SEATTLE — Apartment developer Mill Creek Residential Trust has plans to redevelop the former Hostess Cake factory at 435 Dexter Ave. N. in South Lake Union.

The proposal is for a seven-story building with 275 units and 5,000 square feet of retail. Parking for 225 vehicles would be available at and below grade.
