SEATTLE -- Mack Urban will start construction in April on a four-story, 150-unit apartment building in Wallingford.
The project at 1321 N. 45th St. will have three retail spaces, a rooftop deck, 5,000-square-foot outdoor common area and 152 underground parking spaces.
“Wallingford is quintessential of all that makes Seattle such an amazing city,” said Jim Atkins, managing director of Mack Urban. “It’s home to locally owned shops and restaurants, individuals and families who love their neighborhood, and thriving artistic, social and environmental organizations.”
NK Architects is designing the project, which is scheduled to open in July 2015.
Exxel Pacific is the general contractor. Thomas Rengstorf and Associates is landscape architect.
The team is aiming for LEED silver certification. The building is designed to decrease water and energy use by 30 percent.
