SEATTLE — The Seattle International Film Festival announced it has purchased the SIFF Cinema Uptown in Lower Queen Anne and has also signed a lease for the Egyptian Theatre on Capitol Hill.
SIFF has been operating the 88-year-old Uptown Theater since 2011, a year after AMC Theatres closed its doors. The purchase price for the three-screen theater was $2.67 million.
