Low Income Housing Institute's Ernestine Anderson Place at 2010 S. Jackson St. is a finalist for a Readers' Choice award from Affordable Housing Finance Magazine in the senior housing category. The building has 60 units for seniors with incomes at 50 percent or below the area median. Sound Mental Health provides supportive services on site, and Operation Nightwatch is the community partner. Runberg Architecture Group was the architect and Walsh Construction Co. was the general contractor. Other team members: KPFF, Quantum Consulting Engineers, PanGeo, Rushing Co., Otto Rosenau and Associates, JGL Acoustics, Trinity ERD, Glenn Takagi Landscape Architect, NAC|Architecture and Koryn Rolstad Studios.
