Seattle called a leader in affordable housing, but council wants to do more

Yesterday Seattle City Council received the first of several reports the city will use in creating a new plan for more affordable housing.

The first report was done by Portland-based Otak and Peninger Consulting of San Francisco, and looked at some policies Seattle uses to encourage affordable apartments and compared them to what other similarly-sized cities are doing.
