Tacoma schools buys $6M building

By JOURNAL STAFF

TACOMA — Tacoma Public Schools has agreed to buy a three-story building and four-story parking garage at Ninth Street and Broadway for Tacoma School of the Arts, according to the Tacoma News Tribune.

The building costs $6.2 million and the garage $1.4 million. The money will come from savings from a 2001 construction bond and state matching funds.
