Canadian firm looks to develop First Hill sites

British Columbia Investment Management Corp. is considering options for developing approximately three-quarters a block adjacent to Town Hall Seattle overlooking downtown, and has an option to do a joint venture redevelopment on an adjacent block. Both properties are zoned for high-rises.

A spokeswoman for bcIMC, which invests on behalf of public sector clients in B.C., said it intends to hold the L-shaped property next to Town Hall as a long-term term investment “and options are currently being evaluated for development plans consistent for current zoning.”
