Costco expands HQ in Issaquah building

Costco Wholesale Corp. is expanding its Issaquah headquarters.

Costco has agreed to take 176,656 square feet of office space in Vulcan Real Estate's Sammamish Parkplace in Issaquah.

“With Costco's headquarters located in Issaquah, this lease was a great partnership for both parties,” Ada M. Healey, vice president of real estate for Vulcan said in a press release. “We are very pleased to add another Washington-based Fortune 500 company to Sammamish Parkplace.”

Costco's current headquarters also include three buildings north of Interstate 90 in a mixed-use development called Pickering Place.

In addition to having its headquarters in Issaquah, Costco also has a 150,000-square-foot store there.

Sammamish Parkplace is a three-building office complex that Vulcan developed in 2000. It has 586,823 square feet of office space. Microsoft occupies the other two buildings.
