Supportive housing for families is a group effort in Lakewood

    The 15 apartments in Prairie Oaks will provide permanent homes for families who cannot afford market rate housing, need social services and have at least one disabled person.

    Living Access Support Alliance started construction this week on a two-story building in Lakewood that has 15 apartments and a client service center designed to keep families from being homeless.
