Wright Runstad options Angle Lake site for TOD

Wright Runstad & Co. has an option to buy some land just west of the Angle Lake light rail station in SeaTac and says it could build more than 1 million square feet on the property.

Greg Johnson, president of Wright Runstad, said office space, a hotel and/or retail make sense on the site, which is at South 200th Street and 28th Avenue South.

Johnson said his firm will submit a proposal to the U.S. General Services Administration to build office space for the Federal Aviation Administration, but the site will be developed with or without the FAA.

NBBJ is doing the master plan.

Johnson said the maximum height for buildings on the sloping site varies from 15 to 18 stories.

The site today is used for airport parking.
