SEATTLE — The Seattle-based real estate brokerage Redfin said it has acquired Walk Score, a Seattle company that provides information about neighborhoods to help people decide where they want to live.
Walk Score was founded in 2007 by Matt Lerner, Jesse Kocher, Mike Mathieu and Josh Herst to promote walkable neighborhoods. The company said it shows over 20 million scores a day on more than 30,000 websites, and has an app that lets people search for rentals by commute time.
