CBRE: Tech companies gobble up space here

Tech companies continue to drive the office market in the Seattle area, according to a quarterly report from CBRE.

CBRE says software, telecom, online retail and other tech firms accounted for more than 2 million square feet of new leases in this region over the first three quarters of the year. That's about 36 percent of new leasing activity.
