The Seattle development firm Revolve said it has one apartment project that's nearly finished and another ready to break ground.
Yardhouse, a 35-unit, four-story complex at 1406 E. Republican St. on Capitol Hill, is slated to open in December.
Six of the units will open directly into a 1,600-square-foot interior courtyard. Yardhouse will have 19 parking stalls.
The exterior is cedar siding, steel and concrete.
Yardhouse is being built to LEED silver standards, with low-VOC paints and adhesives, low-flow plumbing fixtures, LED lighting in common areas and drought-tolerant landscaping.
Rents will range from $1,575-$2,200. Twenty percent of the units will be reserved for households earning 65 percent or 75 percent of area median income. Rents for those units will be up to $1,004-$1,323.
(Editor’s note: The story has been corrected to say that some of the units will be for households earning 65 percent or 75 percent of area median income, not 80 percent. )
Revolve will soon begin construction on a four-story, 32-unit mixed-use project at 1315 E. Jefferson St. near Seattle University.
The contemporary-style building will be clad with metal panels, cedar planks and exposed concrete.
About 3,600 square feet of street-level retail is planned, along with 16 underground parking spaces and three surface stalls.
Units will be a mix of studios and one-bedrooms, and south-facing apartments will have decks.
The designer for both projects is Schack A+D, and the general contractor for both is Express Construction.
Schack A+D is led by Revolve Principal John Schack.
Blanton Turner is the property manager for Yardhouse.
