SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A family awarded a $5.2 million judgment over a denied water hookup in two Utah-Arizona polygamous border towns has settled for less to avoid appeals.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1yIFkj7) a private agreement disclosed Thursday shows Ronald and Jinjer Cooke will get about $3 million from insurers and utility companies representing Hildale, Utah, and Colorado City, Arizona.
