Apartment rents down, vacancy up; Is this the regular fourth quarter lull?

Apartment vacancy is up slightly in King and Snohomish counties this quarter and rents are down a bit, according to a new report from Tom Cain's Apartment Insights Washington.

Vacancy rose from 4.3 percent last quarter to 4.55 percent in King and Snohomish counties, but that's lower than the 4.63 percent we saw this time last year.
