DSA says 65,000 people now live in downtown Seattle, more coming

  • A Commute Seattle survey showed the number of people commuting downtown by transit and other alternative modes has increased to 69 percent.

    The Patriots may have defeated the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, but speakers at yesterday's Downtown Seattle Association's state of downtown economic forum labored yesterday to get the last laugh.

    Seattle has recently overtaken Boston in population, thanks in part to robust population growth downtown.
