Developer group appeals Seattle's decision on housing ‘linkage fees'

  • The appeal says the fees need a full review because they will affect housing, jobs, land use and transit.
  • A coalition of developers and business leaders has appealed a city decision about “linkage fees” that they say will impose a tax on new development.

    The Coalition for Sustainable Jobs and Housing includes an entity related to Vulcan Real Estate as well as Clise Properties, Wallace Properties, Lake Union Partners, Emerald Bay Equity, Downtown Seattle Association, Washington chapter of NAIOP, and Building Owners and Managers Association Seattle King County.
