Omada seeking site for new plant here

SEATTLE — Omada International, a Seattle-based aerospace supplier, has acquired the Tacoma company Carlson Formetec, which has provided aerospace clients with advanced titanium forming for more than 35 years.

It will be renamed Omada International Formetec Division. Omada said in a press release that it plans to move Formetec's manufacturing into an expanded facility within 12 months. The company said it is selecting a location where it can retain its current workforce.
